Gerber Hinge Company/European Hardware & Finishes was established in 1981 as a wholesale importer and manufacturer of fine quality decorative hardware.

We specialize in Importing the finest decorative hardware from small foundries and manufacturers in France, England and Italy. We only sell low production and unique products that are hard to find and not mass produced, all made from solid brass our iron (steel). In addition we offer a large selection of unique metal finishes, making it easy for you to find a finish to complement your project. All our patina finishes are done in house per order. Lastly we also refinish unique items such as metal furniture, lighting and other metal items from our clients. Think of us as a boutique hardware store offering one of the kind items for you home, cabinetry and furniture.

Our new e-commerce site will help streamline your purchasing experience with us by offering products that are available with minimum delays. We will start by offering a limited selection of hardware. For now this will consist of some of our most popular items and finish options. We will keep expanding this offering as the online store grows. Our wholesale/trade clients will still receive special trade discounts, while also giving the retail customer the availability to purchase our hardware direct. We look forward to serving you better!
